Mr Sanjith Gnanappiragasam is a leading Consultant Urological Surgeon at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where he serves as Stone Lead. He specialises in kidney stones, prostate enlargement and a wide range of urinary conditions. With advanced fellowship training from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Mr Gnanappiragasam offers the latest minimally invasive treatments, helping patients recover faster and return to everyday life sooner. His expertise includes shock wave treatment (ESWL), ureteroscopy and keyhole kidney stone surgery (PCNL). He helped establish one of the UK’s few day-surgery mini-PCNL services and was the first surgeon in the UK to perform robotic kidney stone surgery using RoboFlex. He has also developed dedicated clinics for recurrent kidney stones and the rapid assessment and treatment of benign prostate enlargement.

In addition to his specialist stone and prostate practice, Mr Gnanappiragasam provides expert care for urinary infections, blood in the urine, bladder problems, incontinence, erectile dysfunction and other urological conditions. As an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London, he is actively involved in research, education and surgical training.
